Following on the heels of the announcement that Pierce Brosnan would no longer be continuing in the role of James Bond, many names have been bandied about. Most recently, Orlando Bloom was said to be in the running to play a younger James Bond. Other people that have been mentioned in regards to the project are Clive Owen, who most recently starred in King Arthur, Cold Mountain star Jude Law and X-Men hunk Hugh Jackman. The latest name to be discussed is Australian hunk, Eric Bana. Bana first came to the attention of American audiences with his starring role in The Hulk. He played opposite Brad Pitt in the blockbuster epic Troy. At the time, rumors swirled that Pitt and Bana did not get along on set and that Bana is difficult to deal with. Although multiple sources are reporting this rumor, the actor’s publicist has denied that he has been approached.
