Oscar-winning actor Nicolas Cage has married for the third time. The star wed 20-year-old Alice Kim last Friday at a private ceremony in Northern California. Kim, a former sushi waitress, met Cage when the actor visited the LA restaurant where she worked. This is her first marriage. They started dating in February and became engaged after two months.
Cage, 40, was previously married to Lisa Marie Presley and divorced after less than four months in 2002. Before that, he was married to actress Patricia Arquette but separated nine months after their 1995 wedding. They, however, remained married for five years. The couple met in 1987, as co-stars in Martin Scorsese's 'Bringing Out the Dead'. Cage was so besotted that he was said to have immediately declared, 'I love you, and I'm going to marry you.' Due to a series of mishaps the couple did not marry until 1995. But it was Arquette who proposed, showing up at Cage's house dressed head to toe in black vinyl, carrying a big purple wedding cake. 'I knew I was with the right woman,' Cage said in a TV interview.
I have a lot of respect for Cage as an actor and judging by his actions, it appears he is trying desperately hard to find love and happiness once again. But will he succeed this time? In times like these, I often resort to my psychics and astrologers for the answers. And it seems there is some hope for Mr. Cage. He was born January 7, 1964. This makes him a Capricorn. In fact, his Sun, Mercury, and Mars planets are all in Capricorn. All this Capricorn energy makes him hard-working, status-conscious, and persevering. Nicolas certainly possesses the staying power and know-how to get where he wants to go in life and it is very natural for him to accept that he has to work for what he wants. And astrologers generally see Capricorns as people who come into their own with age and maturity. So far, so good.
During this past July, astrologers predicted that Capricorns were under pressure to test the strength of their unions and with the affects of the new moon, Capricorns were thinking more deeply and intensely about romance by making long term plans. In August, they predict romantic relationships should proceed smoothly with Venus, the planet of happiness, in the house of commitment at month's end. Moreover, romantic moods will likely be more thoughtful and serious than flirtatious and carefree. Capricorns also become aware that relationships have certain privileges and responsibilities for both parties. September’s forecast is due to be simply glorious, deemed the most favorite month of the year, and perhaps one of the most favorite months of the decade.
So it looks like Mr. Cage has the stars on his side. Here is to hoping they are accurate.
