Disney knows what kids want, and kids (and parents) want it now! Disney is Introducing a PC Computer custom built for kids. The bright blue Disney Dream Desk PC priced at $599 is designed by Disney and built by German electronics giant Medion AG. The computer will include a 2.6-GHz Celeron processor, a CD-RW/DVD combo drive, a kid-sized (Mickey?) mouse, and a multimedia keyboard and digital pen. They are also offering a matching 14.1-inch LCD monitor for $299 sports signature Mickey Mouse ears.

Disney plans on preloading each computer with a range of the company's games and learning tools. The Dream Desk will also have included with ContentWatch's ContentProtect Home Suite, which contains three Internet protection tools: ContentProtect (for Internet filtering), EmailProtect (for e-mail filtering and spam blocking), and PopupProtect (for blocking pop-up ads).

The Dream Desk will be available through Disney's catalog and Web site beginning August 12, and then at CompUSA Superstores beginning September 12.
