Rap group D12 is not about to take a break while their money making potential is still top-notch. D12, who were carried into the spotlight by rapper Eminem, are to begin filming two movies in the coming months. One is to be titled, “Devil’s Night,” and the other is to be named, “Runyon Cash,” after a street in Eminem and D12’s hometown of Detroit. “Devil’s Night” is reportedly going to be a horror movie. It is unknown if it is going to be a spoof or an actual horror movie.
There are few details at this time, but it is known that D12’s managers, Jeremy Geffen and Max Gousse, will be producing the movies. Gousse was one of the executive produces of the movie “You Got Served,” so he does have experience in the filmmaking industry.
It looks like we will continue to hear about (and from) Eminem and D12 straight through 2,005 when the movies are to be released.
D12’s latest album, “D12 World,” is currently #21 on The Billboard 200 after peaking at #1.
