Actor Don Johnson was ordered by a judge to pay an overdue grocery bill of $5,470. He must also pay $426.85 in interest to Clark’s Market, a grocery stroe in Aspen, Colorado. Johnson, the star of the TV shows “Miami Vice” and “Nash Bridges,” did not file a response to the lawsuit.
In May, Johnson’s 17 acre ranch near Aspen was put on sale amid a bankruptcy filing. Johnson has owned the property for 16 years. In March, City National Bank sued Johnson for $930,000, it claims he owes. The asking price for the ranch is $21 million dollars.
Johnson’s most recent role was in 1993 when he played a Vietnam vet in the TNT movie “Word of Honor.” There is no news on whether or not he will be taking on new roles to alleviate his debt.
