Joan Rivers replaces her venomous insults from the red carpet to New York’s recent terror alert.

The plastic surgery princess used New York’s recent terror alerts as a punch line during her gig at Fez last week. An attempt to bomb the Citigroup building was no threat to Rivers. “I hope it goes down. Its so ugly!” she said to gasps and groans from the audience.

With a scruffy fur around her neck that she said was her late dog Spike, Rivers continued to joke about the terrorist scare. “Jewish women will never be terrorists. “Does the bomb make me look fat?”… A Jewish woman will never put a bomb in a Gucci bag, after all the men she bleeped to get it.”

Later in the show, Rivers made an attempt to defend her tasteless humor: “We live in a horrible reality. How else can you get through it, if not with jokes? You have to laugh about it.”
