Arriving in a tour bus, decked out in all-white outfits, screaming fans - it had to be a concert venue with a major star.
But no - it was Michael Jackson and family arriving at his molestation hearing. Michael, with La Toya, Janet, Jermaine, Randy, and Jackie all dressed in white, took the red carpet while hundreds of fans screamed their delight. His parents, Joe and Katherine, were the only members of the family who showed any decorum, wearing more conservative blue clothing.
The event was the cross-examination of the prosecutor Tom Sneddon, who tried to prosecute Jackson in 1993. The defense is trying to have evidence obtained by Sneddon thrown out, citing he had not right to search private investigator Bradley Miller's office. Though pressured, Sneddon claimed no knowledge that Miller had any relationship to former Jackson attorney Mark Geragos, even though he acknowledged seeing a file of letters with both men's name.
The Jackson family sat impassive during the hearing.
