Bruce Springsteen’s wife Patti Scialfa will launch her first national tour in Asbury Park. Scialfa, who has been a part of Springsteen’s band for years, has released her second album '23rd Street Lullaby.' She will appear on 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno' and 'Ellen' in late September to promote the tour which begins September 15th.

In a media blitz surrounding the release of her album, Patti Scialfa appeared on a variety of television programs including the 'Late Show with David Letterman,' 'Today,' 'Late Night with Conan O'Brien,' 'The View,' 'CBS News Sunday Morning,' and 'The Early Show.'

The album, which has gotten good reviews for its smoky folk rock sound, was released in June. There has been no word on whether Springsteen will be making any appearances with his wife in concert.
