The damn liberal media. It's a term we hear all the time. It's a favorite fallback crutch of right wing advocates who no doubt are huge fans of the Fox News Channel.

The new documentary, 'Outfoxed' exposes what really goes on at Fox News and how although they claim to present a fair and balanced view, it is anything but.

The fact that Fox News, and it's owner, Rupert Murdoch, is ardently conservative is not anything new. Whether it be Fox News, the NY Post or any other media subsidiary owned by the wiley billionaire from Down Under, you know when you deal with them you are getting news fit to print only for the right side. When called on their lack of objectivity, their constant refrain is that it is necessary in order to balance the power of the Liberal Media that infiltrate all of society.

All of this begs the question, what Liberal Media? Seriously, where is it? Have I missed it? Cause I know I have looked long and hard. Where are the left wing gazillionaires and their huge multi-national corporations that control media services? I see guys like Murdoch and Rev. Moon of the Washington Times, but no Yin to their Yang. Surely they don't mean the major network anchors, cause Brokow, Rather and Jennings really don't come across as liberals to me. Michael Moore is clearly on the left side, but he is not the media, he only gets coverage from them. As for the various celebrities who support Democratic causes, more times than not they only serve to embaress the rest of us. On that note, Whoopi, shut the hell up. I feel bad you lost your Slim Fast gig, but seriously, how are you even still relevant? Didn't the movie 'Eddie' finally end your career?

Getting back on track, from Bill O'Reilly, to Sean Hannity to that evil succubus herself, Anne 'Yes I truly am Satan' Coultier, whenever they are confronted about their right leaning tendencies, their comeback is that they are fighting the Liberal media. Even though we can't find it. Even though it may not be out there. Actually, I take that back, the liberal media could be out there somewhere, lurking, waiting to strike. In the meantime though, it's probably playing cards with Bigfoot and the Lochness monster.
