A caretaker at the Encino home of Five for Fighting's John Androsik was stabbed 13 times by an intruder.

Ondrasik was not at the San Fernando valley home at the time of the attack, but came home this morning upon hearing the news.

The attacker entered the home reportedly through a dog door, while a couple caretaker was there late Wednesday night. The intruder stabbed 43 yr old Carlos Canton before fleeing the residence. Canton was taken to Northridge Hospital Medical Center, where he is listed in critical condition.

No arrests have been made.

The San Fernando Valley community is an upscale neighborhood and home to stars like Ray Romano and Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen. It was also home to the late Phil Hartman, who was murdered by his wife who committed suicide.
